Tourists can ask for help in the offices of Tourinform, in Hungarian as well as in several foreign languages. There you can get maps, guide books, postcards and other publications for tourists.

This card offers more than 100 different benefits to its user, for example:
-free travel on Budapest Transport Company’s (BKV) public transport
-discounted sightseeing tours
-discounted tickets
-accident insurance

If you buy the card, you will get a 100-page guide (in Hungarian, English, German or Italian), which lists up the places where the card can be used. You can download the guide here. A card is valid for 48 hours (6450 Ft) or for 72 hours (7950 Ft); it entitles an adult and a kid under 14 years to draw on the large scale of benefits.

Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices, from slot machines and at newsstands. Season-tickets are only available at ticket offices. These prices are only valid inside the borders of Budapest, in case of passanger transport.
